My 1 yr multiple entry non imm B visa (which I got in my own country) is up next week. I started working for a school a few weeks ago but am yet to receive my WP.

With all my doc's/school doc's can I get a new non-imm B with out leaving LoS? say in the Nong Kai immigration office.

I think I can but it'll only be a 3 month one until I get my WP and can then go for the 1 year or until my contract/wp is up. Do people know if this is correct? or do I have to go to Vientiene or similar.

No. Per new regs since Oct 1st 2006, you need the work permit.

Ok thanks, is that only in LoS or should it make a difference in Vientienne?
