The wife of a 27 year old man who attacked two ATMs in downtown Trang in southern Thailand took him to surrender to police.

CCTV footage had shown the man arrive at a Krung Thai ATM with an old lady.

He had then thrown a chair at an ATM and used stones and a lump of iron.

Abandoning these weapons he then retrieved a slingshot from a vehicle and shot in the air, reported 77kaoded

The wife said that her husband was being treated for mental health illness in Songkhla.
