Hanging Suicide Case In Soi Khao Noy

Featured Replies

At 3.30 am on Sunday 24th June the Banglamung police were informed that a woman had hanged herself at a house in Chat Kaew Village 1,

located in Soi Khao Noy, therefore went out to investigate.

At the scene the team found Mrs. Chanhorm Sriwicha, aged 42, hanging from the house tree. Her female poodle named Grenny was sitting there next to her and even when the team cut her down; she did not leave her owner’s body.

The police questioned Mrs. Phirom, aged 45; the deceased woman’s elder sister who informed the police.

She stated that that night when she went to bed; her younger sister was watching TV. At about 3 am she heard Grenny barking and howling; as she couldn’t stand the noise she came down to look what was bothering it. There in front of the house she found her younger sister hanging from the tree.

She stated that it was possibly due to stress. The woman’s relatives do not think anything suspicious occurred and believe that it was a suicide. They will pick up her body from the hospital later for cremation.
