Just sending it airfreight indicates a remarkably high confidence in it getting through.

Confidence born of previous and ongoing experience?

As the previous post suggests the special "export tax" no doubt usually facilitates the rapid expedition of the goods.

And they do have to pull something out occasionally........for appearances sake.

The Govt "crackdown" does'nt seem to have detered the producers and fascilitators of these filthy gutter drugs, they still made it into Thailand, thankfully no further!

international parcels containing 7,880 grammes of heroin and 4,440 grammes of liquid Ice (liquid crystal methamphetamine)  with the former heading for Taiwan and the latter Australia were seized at Don Mueang Airport over the past two days,

Interesting - two similar consignments?? For reference in today's Cambodian media (17 October 2022):-

Customs officials say they have intercepted over seven kilogrammes of heroin allegedly bound for Taiwan as part of a joint programme with international logistics agencies...............found a large consignment containing a water heater and four cases of dried durian originating from Cambodia and addressed to Taiwan.................The water heater was found to be concealing 10 bricks of heroin weighing 3.7 kg. The packages bore a logo of two lions standing on a globe. Another 3.5 kg of heroin were found in the boxes of dried durian.............The shipment is being held by police at Suvarnabhumi airport........Thai authorities intend coordinate with their counterpart in Cambodia.

Look like there was a delay in delivery of brown envelopes to concerned authorities. Better be on right on time to avoid future disappointments.

Christmas is coming soon.. best get those Santa parcels well wrapped up.
