Rodent Resistant PU foam?

Has anyone come across an aerosol PU foam that is specifically stated as "Rodent Resistant"?

We have an issue with the local wildlife entering underfloor cable ducting and chowing down on the cables.

Might look for a rat repellent spray with cat urine .

other than a 5,000 v capacitor charge on the the duct……maybe a metalized epoxy or the mineral fiber based sealant used for firebox brickwork ?

I have not heard of any PU foam product that is rat resistant.

No, not I, but sometimewoodworker will surely have heard of it. ????

Not sure of you cable duckting and water levels, but when those horrible things ate out my genset wiring I put down those round glue pads. That seems to have done the trick.

Don't worry, the ducts are on elevated monorail stations, if they flood Bangkok will have bigger issues ????

Good idea, you can buy the glue separately and then put the glue on the PU foam after you sprayed it

I see two things online for rodents -

peppermint oil spray ( maybe not good for cable insulation ?)

and medium steel wool with PU or latex expanding foam pushed through it after steel wool pressed into hole. Supposedly mice hate to chew medium steel wool embedded in the foam.

The volumes needed aren't really massive. Close off (just enough to block the creatures) 8 off 50mm x 150mm ducts on 60 ish stations.

I quite like the steel wool idea, that would certainly be unappetizing!
