It is not about how much taxpayer money Presidents have spent, it is about a conflict of interest: the money Trump spent went into his pocket (well, his company). 3

NO President chooses how may agent and limos he will want when he travels anywhere as it is already laid down in the Presidential budget. Not even 1 out of 10 for a diversionary tactic. It will however be very interesting when EX-president Trump's expenses get totaled up.

Popular Post candide
*Deleted post edited out* It's you obfuscating. The topic is "Trump company charge....", It's not about Obama, and there was also no "Obama company charge....". So It's an obvious false equivalence (on top of being off-topic) Fact is there was an obvious conflict of interest, aggravated by the high price charged for rooms. How many golfing 'vacations' did EX-president Trump take to HIS golf courses at the taxpayer expense, and where did the secret agents also stay? If you want to be seen as non biased, then present BOTH sides and don't try to defend Trump all the time. Try explaining how many vacations Melania Trump took at the taxpayers expense while he was POTUS? Or how about a Google search? here is one for you. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2020/04/10/secret-service-has-protected-trump-family-members-4000-trips-three-years/ Once Trump took office, his position on trips (and on Obama’s golf habit) shifted dramatically, though the rhetoric of many of his supporters didn’t. While the media tracked Trump’s regular trips to his privately owned properties in Florida and New Jersey, Trump’s supporters regularly defended Trump by pointing to the frequency and cost of Obama’s trips. Data compiled by the Treasury Department shows the distribution of protected trips within the administration from 2010 to 2016. The figures, obtained and published by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, show that Obama, then-first lady Michelle Obama and their family took about 4,700 trips from 2010 to 2016. Just under 1,000 of those were for members of the president’s family, excluding Michelle. Most of the protected trips that were taken over that period were by former officials, including former presidents and their families. The data obtained by CREW extended into Trump’s own term in office. In 2017, 2018 and 2019, members of the presidents’ family took 4,560 trips — the bulk of them in the past two years. Read the link, especially the bit from 20010 to 2019 and explain to us how EX-president Trump's family took around 4,000 trips in 3 years at the tax payers expense. So, if I understand well your post, Obama's familly made around 1000 trips during 6 years, and Trump's familly around 4000 during 3 years, so 8 times more trips per year than Obama's familly. ????
