Does it gets boring in Koh Phangan, Samui?

I never go to fitness, and don't go much to restaurant, but takes a walk on the beach daily.

I'm never bored on Samui, so much else to do and enjoy, including the party life that presumably is quite different from Pattaya, at least from what I have experienced up there.

Probably, as well as everywhere in Thailand, depending whom you mingle with and how you behave – there plenty of single females visting the island – if you specific are considering a Thai girlfriend, some level of providing might also be a benefit, if not a must.

And for "etc.....", yes there are also numerous rainbow-options available...????

Whats your view on Lamai vs Maenam?

She did well given the photo you posted.

That's what Brit women look like.

Haven't you ever wondered why we all left to conquer the world?

As for the islands,

I was always put off by the m/c mafia waiting for foreigners at the ferry.

Boring,

What more does anyone need than warm weather and an internet connection?

Kpn is ok i thought but really pkk is better for food, no mafia.

Those ferries look to be expensive.

I've been staying both places, but mainly Maenam.

Lamai beach village or area is cozy, have more restaurants and life on the beach area and more nightlife in form of beer bars (with ladies) and a square with a Thai boxing arena in action on Saturdays (I don't know if it's reopened by now after Covid lockdown); it's merely like you expect Thailand. I however don't fancy the beach as much as Maenam, more waves and miss the view to neighboring islands.

Maenam beach is quite long – about 5 kilometers – and little different, depending of where you stay on that stretch; however, beach and view almost the same. In both ends of Maenam there are some few beer bars by the ring road, while in the middle section there are no nightlife like that, but cozy pubs and restaurants. Maenam is more laid down than Lamai.

Personally I prefer to live in Maenam, while lamai has been great for shorter stays and bit of partying; especially earlier, when they had some late clubs – that part of the nightlife has unfortunately ceased to exist.

You could try asking a 7/11 girl out for a meal after she's finished work ? Hang around the shop when she's working and go in and buy a few things to get to know her

I have a few friends who do just that. They hit on civilians all the time. And they do fairly well. You need to speak some Thai, you nedd to have some game, and it helps if you have some bling. They love that. Many are single, and some are curious or game.

You don't find the good bargains for longer term rent of bungalows by calling hotels. Your best bet is to book something for the first few night and then find it locally, either by simply asking – it use to work quite well – or rent some kind of transportation and get around the island, and look for "For Rent"-signs.

You can find Okay bungalows fan-only from about 8,000 baht a month and with aircon in the area from 10,000 baht a month, even within walking distance from beach, restaurants and shopping...????

can you pm me a place so I can call them and book it?

If you are looking for a companion that is not a prostitute that will pretty much be Bangkok. But most women are still going to want some sort of financial support from a man - especially if there's no interest in marriage.

If it's just about money than get a hooker because wives and even those with modest needs are far more expensive than hourly companionship.

Of course, these two relationships are entirely different as well.

The saddest thing in Thailand and I'm starting to see more of it as tourists flow in is the short / long term farang with the hooker rental gf dressed in sensible clothes. She's still a hooker and is just playing a role providing a GFE.

A favorite hook up meeting point seems to be Asoke station/ T21 but I see couples roaming as far north as HuayKwang - usually lost hahahaha

Judd Fairs in Hauy Kwang is a great place for a date!

No shopping malls!

Samui has Robinsons.  Great Topps market!

Your always traveling around beach places.  What do you think? Samui is nice especially during the COVID times when it wasn't packed.

it's not Robinson's brand. It is Central Festival. Both in the Central Group.

As you say  - great market, Lots of Waitrose products and some Casino. Huge craft beer section.

There are many, but I'm not a booking agency, so I don't drive around the island to look for signs and telephone numbers.

In Maenam there are Tripple S (Google Street View-link HERE) and Madam P (next door with the ATM machine in front), the latter I think is called Maenam Bungalows, but I don't have their phone number, just sawadee the owners several times a week, when I pass. Both are about 100 meters from an Asian Top 10-beach.

Then there is this one, some 300-400 meters from the beach (GSV HERE), and in Bo Phut I know this one "Meesang Garden Resort" (GSV HERE). You can actually use GSV to get around, check area and find something of interest, but mind you that the GSV-images might be 5-6 years old...????

I may have met one of your friends , some American guy was new in town and he attempted to befriend every female in town , wandering around talking to every female he saw , peoples wife's, girlfriends, mothers , daughters , every female and he was like "Hello , how are you blah blah blah"

He carried on like that for a week , I don't think that he got any results , because he always seemed to be on his own .

He seemed desperate and after trying his luck with every female in town, he moved on to somewhere else

It depends on how horny they feel .

If they dont feel horny at all , you have no chance .

If they are drippingly horny , anyone will do
