Child Protection Foundation’s license will not be renewed next January

 

Thailand’s Ministry of Social Development and Human Security has decided not to renew the license of the Child Protection Foundation, after its secretary-general was charged with assault and illegal use of child labour.

The Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation has been working with relevant agencies to get the Tham Luang Khun Nam Nang Non Forest Park designated as a national and historical park and, eventually, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Move Forward MP Points To EIA Hurdle In New Booze Regulation

A Move Forward Party MP said in a Facebook post that the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) will likely rein in those considering applying for a permit to produce beer and other alcoholic beverages under the new ministerial regulation that came into effect on Wednesday Nov. 2, Matichon newspaper said.

Warning to all dog owners in Thailand after a recent pit bull attack and other serious incidents

Police Lieutenant Colonel Ying Naphawan Panya, Deputy spokesperson for the Royal Thai Police issued a warning to animal owners but particularly to the owners of dogs of the pitbull breed.


Thai law imposes duties on the owners of dogs to keep them under restraint at all times. There is growing concern about the spike in incidents linked to pit bull dogs in Thailand with a long list of deaths and horrific injuries linked to the breed or crossbreeds of this type of dog.
