DumbFalang Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 White screens are a bit tough on the eyes for me these days
OneMoreFarang Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Turn down the brightness. And, on some devices, you can use some kind of night mode which make the background light warmer - easier to watch at night.
Lemsta69 Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 I use Brave browser for Android. It has an experimental dark mode that works for most of the websites I visit. Sometimes it won't render properly and you have to revert to normal mode temporarily but for me it's worth it. The white background does my eyes in too.
scubascuba3 Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Phones usually have a dark mode, look in settings or the pull down menu from the screen top
DumbFalang Posted November 13, 2022 Author Posted November 13, 2022 Thanks guys. I should have mentioned that this is only a problem for me when I'm using my Windows 10 PC and the Firefox browser. While we are on the subject, I use another web site at night time which has a dark mode. Only problem is, when I navigate to another page on the site firefox displays a glaring white page in the process. Maybe I should try that site with Chrome or Brave?
BigStar Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Use the browser extension Dark Reader. Works a treat. 1
