Courier or Postal /Shipping Suggestions to send Christmas gifts C Rai to Europe

Featured Replies

Thailand post seems to have got slower and more expensive, poor tracking.

Any other ideas, UPS EMS , Kerry etc?

Apologise if in the wrong thread , mods feel free to move as you think fit.

I will be sending small unbreakable gifts , silk, books etc with values around 4000 baht $100 to France Czechia and Ireland

Thai Post office E-packet..upto 2kg per parcel. Reasonable rates and shipping times. Note anyone in the EU has to pay vat and service fee. Mark it clearly as "Gift, value not exceeding €45"

Possibly list the items.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Avoid FedEx like the plague. They used to be the best in the business. Now, it appears they are skimping on customs brokers. Have had two different packages stuck in US customs for a month each, in the past year.

Go with DHL, UPS, or Thai post express mail. Not FedEx. They have gone way, way downhill. And it is of their own accord. It is all about profit over service.
