Illegal Chinese immigrant and Thai helper nabbed in North by Chiang Saen immigration

Chiang Saen immigration in Chiang Rai in the north of Thailand acting on information received arrested Unkham, 56 in Rim Khong sub-district.

 

He was charged with aiding and abetting foreign nationals to enter Thailand illegally, reported Siam Rath.

 

Outside a house 25 year old Zhang Bowen, a Chinese national, was arrested on a motorcycle.

 

He claimed to have only been in Thailand a few days.

He had no passport and there was no record of him ever coming to or leaving the kingdom.

 

He also claimed he was just about to go back to Laos. 

 

Both of those in custody are being prepared for prosecution.
