Hi all,

Thanks in advance for advice. I am from Ireland and am planning a 3 month holiday in Thailand taking in Cambodia and Vietnam as well. I am arriving in Thailand in mid January and intend to break up the Thailand trip with a 10 day trip to Cambodia and a 10 day trip to Vietnam. My question is: When I exit and return to Thailand after each 10 day trip to the other countries on my itinerary, will I get a fresh 30/45 day visa on arrival (I understand this has been extended to 45 days at the moment until March 31st)

Example itinerary

Stay 2 weeks chiang mai and 2 weeks pattaya

Fly to Vietnam for 10 days (Do I get a fresh 30/45 day visa when I return to Thailand?)

Stay 2 weeks Samui and 2 weeks phuket

Fly toCambodia for 10 days (Do I get a fresh 30/45 day visa when I return to Thailand?)

10 days bangkok

Then travel back to home country.

Cheers.

No problem to what you are planning to do.

You will get a 45 day day entry from each entry unless you do one after March 31st when it will be 30 days again.

Hi UbonJoe, thanks for your reply. Great to get confirmation from knowledgeable contributors.

Cheers.

As an Irish national, you'll be entering Visa exempt (without a visa), not a VOA.
You'll be granted permission of stay for 45 days, each entry prior to March 31st - 30 days thereafter.
