Citing a Foreign Ministry cable and a pair of Israeli officials, the Walla news site reported Tuesday that Bangkok informed Jerusalem of the development during a high-level diplomatic visit to Thailand. The Israeli delegation was reportedly led by Aliza Bin Noun, the Foreign Ministry’s political director. The report said a senior Thai diplomat told Bin Noun that Iranian officials reaffirmed the pledge not to attack Israelis while he was visiting Tehran in August.
