Popular Post gargamon Posted December 6, 2022 Popular Post Posted December 6, 2022 At one point I considered retiring in Mexico, but didn't because of the cartels, crime, corruption, etc. With the resort areas now being fair game, I wouldn't even go there for a two week vacation, no matter how cold it is where I am. 3 1
pgrahmm Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 Just a roll of the dice there....About 15 years ago I went with a sports team on a goodwill tour.....We played ball against local teams, meet up functions, school tours, & such....The Mexican sponsors had different venue sports groups come through on different weeks .... La Paz, Baja.... The next week after we left, another group came through & the their bus was raked with gun shots and 2 people died.... It doesn't have the desperation look and feel of the PI, but there is a very real danger there....
