Man foraging in forest in Loei province killed by elephant

A villager was killed by an elephant and another escaped unhurt yesterday (Sunday) as they were foraging in a forest in the Phu Luang wildlife sanctuary, in the Wang Saphung district of Thailand’s north-eastern province of Loei.

BTS Confirms Skytrain Fares To Rise On Jan. 1

BANGKOK Mass Transit System Plc (BTS), the operator of the Skytrain system in the metropolis, today (Dec. 12) announced a fare increase for rides to 24 stations over a distance of 23.5 kilometres starting Jan. 1, 2023, TV Channel 7 said.

A PULMONARY disease expert said in a Facebook post this morning (Dec. 12) that Thailand has to watch what Covid-19 strain is spreading in India because the same variant usually comes here with the one currently taking hold there being XBB, Sanook.com said.
