Daily News Thai Caption: The Yakuza

 

Police investigating an illegal Japanese run and staffed call center in Bangkok have found a link to Japan's infamous crime organization the Yakuza.

 

The owner of the operation is a member.

 

Earlier this week five Japanese nationals were arrested after a compatriot complained that he was held against his will and extorted, reported Daily News.

 

The five face seven serious charges including illegal detention and extortion. 

 

Daily News reported that a 39 year old who was arrested in the raid was covered in tattoos.

 

The Yakuza are well known for having tattoos.

YAKUZA AND TRIADS BATTLE FOR CONTROL OF BKK. I love it. I miss the Hong Kong action flicks of the 80's and 90's. Looks like they're back, now in real life.
