Theres got to be something wrong in Finland if the people need to drink so much

Maybe its the 1300 km border with Russia thats bothering him in Pattaya.......

Are they allowed to say 'Blacked out' these days? Surely Passed Out is more PC.    555   Haha

I have heard that booze is very expensive, at least in Norway, and likely in Finland as well.

These hardy northerners tend to go somewhere tropical, then some forget not to get

plastered and still ride their rental bikes around. If he had done this in Canada, well in this time of the year, he would likely have frozen

to death.

Visit to Finland and you will understand ????????????

Not just intoxicated. They drink until they fall of their chairs. Or bikes as in this case.

I read somewhere that many Swedes, Or was in Scandinavians? also used to get like this. Something to do with the high taxes and strict controls on where and when they can buy alcohol back home. Obviously that doesn't apply here.

I don't think taking someone that intoxicated back to their room is very responsible, I hope there was someone there to keep an eye on him. I personally knew a few people that died in their sleep after choking on their vomit.

At least he will have to pay an extortionate repair bill for his damaged rental bike, 2,000 Baht a scratch.

I'm yet to meet a finish man who's NOT intoxicated, those guys can drink anyone under the table...

Don't think so, it's just their tolerance level is lower than us British, mainly sustained by the Scottish ????

Lucky guy.. if it were anywhere else he would be facing a driving suspension and possibly jail time

True! In Thailand you can get away with almost anything! TIT!

Making himself and his country proud. He can collect his brain and dignity at lost and found at airport arrivals on his way back Finland.

I flew Finnair this Summer.  The only airline not offering free drinks; G & T well over my price range.  Double my usual price to UK AND no overhead locker space; had to sit 14 hours with my carry on between my feet TWICE!  No wonder this burke hit the bottle hard when he arrived.

Just another typical tourist story.  Nothing unusual about this type of behavior

The so called "Leave your brain at the airport" concept...

Hurray! The quality tourists are back to build the image of Pattaya. And, this guy is just picked up, no alco-test and sent to his place for sleep it off???

He should have been recorded by police, an alco-test should have been taken. After that fined and maybe sent to court for possible jail time. Coming to a foreign country and behave like an animal. Disgraceful!

Sad to inform you, but the latest report said they deemed it to faulty to save. Nothing to collect.

A border with Russia, i'd be nervous as well.  That and looooong winters,

Jokes aside, they're not even in the top 20 according to this list, in fact #33

Escorted back to his room.  What a joke.  He should have been locked up to sober up and then charged with drunk driving, endangering the safety of others, and likely driving without a proper motorcycle license.   At least he didn't maim or kill anyone but he easily could have driving so drunk he literally passed out while driving.   Unbelievable that drunk driving and road safety are given such short shrift.

Living his best life.

The rescuers gave him ammonia to sniff to clear his head and escorted him off the road. They then helped him get back on the motorbike to continue his journey to his place of residence.

Uncommonly good action by the plod.

Having worked in Finland, Helsinki,  and with many Fins, I can say, 'Typical'?

In his home country he doesn't have to try this, that's why he does it here.
