The US doesn't have a dog in that fight, they have all the oil and gas of their own that they need, and export some. If Putin had not had his brain farts about restoring the USSR etc., the Russians would be doing very well with their economy, even with rampant corruption. Please do listen to this, it's very educational to say the least, i.e. if your open minded, (not meaning to be offensive). The only way to end this war is for the Russian people to depose Putin, leave ALL Ukrainian territory including the Crimea, Donbas and Luhansk, release ALL the Ukrainians that have been forcibly taken from their homes in Russia. Anything less is a betrayal of the Ukraine and its people who have suffered firstly from an unprovoked war, and now from unprovoked attacks on the civilian infrastructure, which is also a war crime. Now it seems that Russia is crying over 2 military airfields inside Russia that have been attacked. They are legitimate military targets in a war started by Putin and the Russian military. Russia responded by attacking more civilian targets in the Ukraine. It seems that Russia is happy enough to attack civilians in the Ukraine but not so happy when Russian military targets are attacked in Russia. One thing that amazes me is how the Ukrainians managed to send missiles and/or drones across Russian territory considering the much vaunted superiority of the sophisticated Russian Air Force. It shouldn't really have surprised that many people though as this man flew his light aircraft and landed in at Red Square in Moscow. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathias_Rust#:~:text=Mathias Rust (born 1 June,Moscow on 28 May 1987. 2

Immunity! lol why? Over history USA is by far the worse country in terms of war crimes, only country that comes close is the UK and then you look at the way the British empire destroyed India....they are still fighting over Kashmir now, after we put the main water supplies between the two borders of Pakistan and India. Perfectly designed to cause an ongoing conflict....I could go on. Has that got anything at all to do with Zelensky visiting the US to get further help to kick out the Russian terrorists that are murdering innocent civilians and destroying their homes? Churchill once said “democracy is the worst form of government – except for all the others that have been tried.” No doubt the USA has made many mistakes in its pursuit of self-interest, all nations do. Popular Post Bkk Brian
"why the Trumpian populist right is consumed w/hatred for Ukraine—a hatred clearly beyond concerns about the US spending a very small portion of our military budget, or about the nonexistent involvement of American troops—doesn’t have a simple answer." Putin’s Useful Idiots: Right Wingers Lose It Over Zelensky Visit The anti-Ukraine right can’t stand America standing as the arsenal of democracy. Why had Ukraine not been allowed to join NATO before the invasion then and why did Zelensky additionally offer Putin a peace deal stating he would not join NATO if that brought peace? How does that fit in with your theory? They weren't aloud to join as they have missed so many European Union, International Monetary Fund, and U.S. reform encouragements since 2014. This is further undercut by the reality that Ukraine is not in control of all of its territory. Russia has annexed Crimea and supports separatist republics in the Donbas.
