I had a bargirl last night who told me she borrowed 100,000 baht "from the government", and then she lent it to a friend at a high interest rate. The friend never paid her back, and now the government loan is due.

Oops.

She told me that her son lent her 100,000 baht to pay back the loan.

Yesterday, the bargirl paid back a 2500 baht loan.

This morning, she hit me up for a 10,000 baht loan. Classic escalator con. Even if she pays this one back, she is going to raise the ante until she stops paying.

I declined her request this time.

Can I borrow 5000 baht?

This is very common for women over 40:

if they come to my condo overnight, and leave in the morning, they hit me up with a money request within 24 hours. It seems that they go home, and then some financial crisis emerges within a few hours.

I would advise them not to come to my condo, then they won't have a financial crisis.

The last lady borrowed 6,000 baht, and paid me back on time.

Three days later, she asked to borrow another 3,000 baht.

I have often lent 500baht or so to Thai relatives knowing i will probably never get it back

The good thing is they never ask again.

You get relatives asking to borrow 10,000 baht but no chance with that.

Got someone borrow 2500baht once and never seen that again ,worse part is they kept saying they had no money but you see them with beer or get a new honda wave which annoys the fu7k out of me
