mcd Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 An unofficial Press conference was made by the TT&T on 28th June at the Isawan Resort and Spa about a new service: Maxnet IPTV, which is a TV system that runs through the Internet. TT&T Subscriber Services has soft-launched the Internet Protocol (IP) television service Maxnet IPTV for selected broadband Internet subscribers to its group. This soft launch covers many provinces like Khon Kaen, Chiang Mai, Chonburi, Ayutthaya, Phuket, Nakhon Ratchasima, Phitsanulok, Songkhla, Nakhon Pathom and now Pattaya. TT&T has to focus on new services to stand out since they have a lot of competition from other operators. It is planned that in the future the Maxnet IPTV service will interact transactions like bill payments; even play interactive internet games through the TV screen. http://www.pattayapeople.com/default.asp?F...;IdArticle=6413
Humphrey Bear Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Pattaya is now a Province ????? I thought we were a part of Chon Buri. Perhaps we could go one step further and become a Self Administered Economic Zone like Hong Kong and Macau.
