there is always hope that those voters switching from the former junta parties will go for future forward and not thaksin parties.

there are rumours for over a year now, that thaksin is planning coalition with prawit as the PM.

Asean now poster boy is up again.

Was his sisters turn last week.

Why does this man get air time .

His gone,  a has been,  finished. a fugitive.

Unless he would like to board a flight back to mouth off here.

love to see that. mister Thaksin Shinawatra. :cheesy::coffee1:

You might be inquiring the reasons why?

As it's profitable in one form or another.

While the Future Forward party has not shown itself as more wily than the dinosaurs, it hasn't gone to the dark side yet. People like them because they seemed to offer a New Hope.

If they win (unlikely) it won't achieve too much without its founder and inspiration.

People here like the status quo. I'm sure they will get a lot of the young vote, but i can't figure how they will out-fox the old foxes.

Prayut now out of his comfort zone, Prawit too old to know what day it is. it's starting to look more like a clear run for Anutin.. and he can't make a decision.

Grim future for Thailand.

You're wrong about Anutin but right about Thailand. Anutin makes decisions all the time. The problem is they more often than not end up being the (very) wrong one.

But hey, what can we expect in a country where who and not what you know is all that matters.

Well anyone one with half a brain cell knows this Muppet is on his way out. The big question is which Muppet will be replacing him, providing he who cant be name agrees.

What a great thing if someone gets in who is not appointed but then again that will never happen.

1. He is, in fact, in Dubai

2. He is still the single biggest entity in Thai elections - whomever he nominates, wins - hardly a trait of a has been.

3. His party is going to win the next election, 17 years after he was ousted in a coup he still utterly dominates. The fact that you are here, commenting on Thaksin, shows that he is far from finished (when is the last time Abhisit was relevant?)

4. Interpol hasn’t the slightest interest in pursuing Thaksin for they don’t pursue individuals convicted by biased courts of trumped up charges by illegal coup installed regimes persecuting their far more popular political opponents.

Nah,

The military is here to stay.

But they may hand it back for a few years ,then guess what.

History repeats itself. very well here.

Wrong.

The trend has been in one direction.

The genie is out of the bottle.

The people have tasted life under democracy.

Social media is here to stay.

The crowds reaction to a certain tune at the recent Blackpink concert reveals the true feelings of the masses.

The dam wall is about to burst.

But the truth is, nothing will ever change in Thailand.

as the Thai people don't want to change.

They just want there turn at the trough.

Good luck.

I wonder how often Thaksin thinks how wonderful it would be to still live in Thailand.

And maybe he thinks about that he should have been more careful with his crimes.

It's almost sad. Almost.

No need to wonder how often you think of Thaksin - your bizarre obsession is obvious.

It is sad.

This post says a lot more about you than the Thai people.

What a depressing attitude to be living life with.

Condolences.

Yet the old elite act terrified/have a hissy fit every time his name comes up, which begs the question; if he is "a has been" why does this happen?
