Always good for a laugh. Incorrect. Unsubstantiated is something not proved to be true by evidence. It might be true, it might not be true, it’s unsubstantiated, there is no means to determine if it is true or not. Which is why verifiable facts matter. 4

You must be paying "Farang" prices. Chicken breast is cheaper than leg. Thais love to eat meat near the bone. The most expensive part of the chicken is the 3 joint wing. I suspect the legs weigh a lot more more than the wings. So if you got 10 legs for 500gm, and 20 wings for 500gm, that would explain the difference. Actually, the best option is selling the house at a huge profit and moving into a flat with plenty of money for food AND heating. I can understand them not wanting to rent out their rooms, given the sort of people roaming around these days.

Could be due to lifestyle choices as much as money in the bank. Professionals tend to not smoke or drink alcohol to excess, which saves a lot of money, and they tend to work longer than blue collar workers. Although I had to make do on pathetic nurse wages, I still financed holidays in Thailand by not smoking, drinking alcohol, or doing illegal drugs. Your response is typical of many Brexiters. Correct me if my interpretation is incorrect but it seems to amount to, "Brexit has been a failure to date, but let's continue with it in the hope that things turn around." Given that no evidence is given to support this view that things will improve, I find this argument incomprehensible.
