At least three repetitions, not counting later encores, which is a speech pattern often found in old folks becoming senile, ie the struggle to get hold of one idea before it slips away. Or in the case of "the oranges of the investigation" Trump does find the right word, but struggles to pronounce it correctly ("oranges" was said 3 times, at one point one heard "oringes" pronounced as in "syringes.") -

An endorsement for either Harris or Trump is more of a curse than a blessing. It is not the feel good union of nurses or teachers. Rather it is the union of the rail workers, logistics workers, and a range of other workers who have significant impact on people, when they go out on strike, e.g. the recent rail workers strike crisis. And it is the union of UPS, the company where drivers mishandle packages antagonizing customers. A Teamsters endorsement might motivate some workers, but it won't do anything for the general public, since teamsters are still seen as the mob's union, even if they cleaned up their activities. -

iPhone 16 Launch Draws Large Crowds in Thailand
The biggest update this year is actually the rollout of Apple Intelligence and all of the generative AI features that Apple will add to the functionality of the phone. The irony is that the phone is out, but none of the AI functionality is available yet and won't be until next month, and with the more major AI functions to actually come out early next year through additional software operating system updates. It seems that the iPhone 15 Pro models will be able to support running Apple Intelligence, but all iPhone models prior to that will not be able to. This means that anyone who wants access to Apple Intelligence, and who hadn't bought last year's pro model, will be forced to buy this year's model iPhone in order to get access to that functionality. Apple is hoping that this new technology will be a driver to get many more people to upgrade this year than usual. It remains to be seen though how excited people are about having some new AI functionality built into their iPhone. Normally, camera improvements have been the big driver in the past to get people to upgrade, year after year, but last year's iPhone camera updates were so spectacular that it's going to be much harder for Apple to get people to update their phones in the future based on camera specs going forward. -

Extension longer than visa validity.
I have a one year Thai spouse visa that is good until 15 October but I just returned to Thailand (had to exit and reenter every 90 days due to the type of visa from Savannaket) and pointed out my visa to immigration and they gave me 90 days. Does this mean my one year visa is good for 14 months? I plan to get a retirement visa next but won’t have 12 straight months of foreign income bank statements to show immigration until May 2025 ( due to withdrawal from ATM in May 2024). Do I still need to go back to Savannaket before the 15 Oct end date on my original visa to maintain that status? Can I just go a few days before my Dec 15th expiration date? TIA -

You would.. But the OP and other interested parties must consider that despite your vast travels you know nothing more about Pattaya than does any typically ignorant monger. It's rather like Thais who travel to Paris but never really leave Udon Thani. Serious inquirers should listen to residents such as @newnativeand see whether Pattaya can't fit most lifestyles pretty well. Many members here have stated their preference for Pattaya over Hua Hin, BTW, based on a number of factors. -

Yes, if I was in UK, I would consider but I am in Thailand and do not have much Thai language skills. Most important task is to learn to speak Thai and enjoy being with my partner. -

A fake what? It's an MP3 player by Xiaomi what's fake about that???? I have a tyre inflator unit from Xiaomi that is very good and does what it says on the box, so it's a name I have some faith in.
