No laugh reaction anymore?

Featured Replies

It seems we can't laugh about comments from other people anymore.

Really?

What's next?

Who has these ideas?

Does anybody think anybody sensitive will be triggered if someone laughs? Or what's the problem?

Good, it was being abused to troll members. 99.99% of them weren't in response to a joke or sarcasm.

True...  one poster twit with whom I disagree with quite often used the ‘laugh emoji’ on nearly all of my posts for a while...  he was clearly trolling me.... very easy to ignore though so it never bothered me at all....

I don’t really know why it would upset some posters such that it requires removal - some posters are just too thin skinned.

I much prefer the +1 / -1 days....  IMO its perfectly fine for a poster who doesn’t agree with or dislikes what I have written to post a -1....

It gets quite tedious to see the same names over and over again in the notifications for almost every post. It isn't just a matter of getting over it, the perps should get a life.

So 1 in 10,000 was used correctly - in your opinion.

Wow, I am always impressed with the knowledge of our experts.

Did you have bad dreams with all those laugh smilies? Or how did it effect you?

It annoyed me. persistent trite behaviour always does. I know, I'm a snowflake.

So it didn't bother you at all but you made sure you checked with all your posts who laughed? Correct?

I also see the reactions but I have to admit I didn't do research if maybe one member repeatedly clicks one or the other reaction icon.

Maybe we need another ignore function: Don't show if anybody laughed. Or don't show if member xyz reacted.

Slowly I understand why this site needs so many ads and so much money to administer all the snowflakes.

Thou shalt agree, like, love or be thankful for a post and that's all.

Forces you to reply, be more engaged, more posts means more clicks means more money.

When you see a post is popular it either means it is in fact popular or Liverpool Lou as replied 10 separate times.

I think a question mark would serve well as an addition to an laughing emoji

The whole world going woke now, and finely now I used the word to.

There is a true revolution going on, for sure!

Maybe not suitable for this tread, but I saw this one yesterday, worth take a look at. Where is the woke tread I saw a few days ago?

Or maybe we could just reply to the thread and make an actual point?

Sorry, but ofttimes a reply is only worthy of ridicule.

No idea, do you repeatedly make laughable posts?

Never. I have only called them trolls because they refuse to provide links to support factual claims, the very definition of trolling.

Attention all posters!!

This thread is an excellent demonstration as to why the forum Admin have decided that the laugh reaction is more trouble than it is worth.

Sorry and all that, but if you can't all behave then the toys will be taken away.

One persons serious is another's comedy gold. Have you ever complained when/if I reacted positively to one of your posts?
