Can I drive from Thailand to Indonesia (via Malaysia+ optionally Singapore+Ferry) with my Thai-registered car?

I have a car registered in Thailand. I know I can enter Malaysia, and likely Singapore. If I take a ferry from Malaysia or Singapore with my car, will Indonesia let my car in? If so, what's the paperwork/taxes/etc.?

Both Thailand and Indonesia drive on the left with cars with steering wheel on the right side.

Info a bit old, but maybe good as a guideline?

Probably in MJCM's link, but you need a "Carnet", essentially a passport for a vehicle.

I haven't read any of the MJCM info. so I may be speaking out of turn, but I believe accident insurance is needed for each country. I have no Idea about how to get it though.
