Channel News Asia in Singapore went inside the world of Scrabble or what the Thais call Crossword Game.

 

Their documentary revealed how Scrabble has affected the lives of so many in the kingdom since it became popular in the 1980s.

They love scrabble because they're lacking knowledge in battleships.

especially the three letter words are very popular....when I played with students in school they almost all knew these, while I had to check in the cover if it existed..

I used to play Scrabble with my Thai step son when he was very young. He's now 22, and believes it has helped him a lot in getting to grips with the Business English course he is undertaking at university.
