Hi guys, I need some advice I’ve been in Thailand for nearly one year with my Australian passport and I ran out all of my visa extensions already flew to Laos two times and my visa is running out in 13 days. My uncle(mums side) is diagnosed with stage 4cancer and no one can look after him. I’m currently holding on two passports Australia and Thai. Is there any chance I can apply for a visa that would suit my situation. Cheers guys.

As your question is about your stay in Thailand let’s move this to the Thailand Forum.

If you hold Thai nationality, why did you enter with your Australian passport?

Why haven't you used your Thai passport to enter Thailand?

Best to do the passport swap by air.

@ubonjoeso that means I could fly to Laos with my AUS passport and enter with my Thai passport? Would there be any issues with the immigration when I come back to Australia?

There wouldn't be any problem for you to enter Australia.

Thank for the info @ubonjoe I didn’t use my Thai passport because I just got it 3 months ago, would there be any chance I can swap passport by land instead?

Some border crossings may do it by land.

The problem is using 2 passports to do the crossing.

You could fĺy in using the Thai passport to enter and then depart by land.
