webfact
Picture: Siam Rath A South Korean man who owns a massage parlor in the Korean port city of Busan was arrested by Region 3 immigration police in Pattaya yesterday after a woman was forced to provide sexual services. Mr Cho has been charged with conspiracy to commit human trafficking. He was in league with three Thai women in a case that stretched back to 2019. Picture: Siam Rath A woman had replied to a Facebook ad about work in Busan and been assured by the Thai women that there was no sex involved and Mr Cho would pay all expenses for her travel to South Korea. When she arrived she was threatened with a wok and had her passport taken away. She fled and was found and battered and bruised before being forced to prostitute herself. Picture: Siam Rath The police in South Korea managed to repatriate her and then immigration working with the anti human trafficking police took up the case. Cho was arrested at a condo or luxury hotel - Siam Rath couldn't make up their mind - on Sai 3 when he came for a visit to Thailand. Picture: Siam Rath He admitted his involvement and is helping police with their inquiries. The media did not report anything about the three women involved but had a stock warning to Thais about being wary of taking jobs abroad. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2023-02-22 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. Legitimate business opportunities verified by the Thai labour officials both in Thailand and in the visiting country. There are many ways to check the credibility of a business before being employed and going there. 2

It is despicable to do this to another human let alone a trusting fellow countryman. Why take an unwilling worker when I'm sure many would willingly go knowing full well the truth

Harsh Jones
I sometimes wonder about these cases. There's no real reason for a pimp to take an unwilling participant. It is inevitably going to be trouble.
