True, Bkk, Everything But Http Down

Featured Replies

Just trying to confirm if anyone else is having problems on TRUE (BKK) tonight. Everything but http, that includes access to email, irc, ftp or anything else you can think of, is down at the moment. It doesn't even give an error that would indicate a reason, it's merely a black hole (and connection-atempts time out). (Can be done on purpose too ofcourse, but not even TRUE would be stupid enough, would they?)

It stated around 3am I think, noticed the irc-client and email program stopped recieving data some time later with last data incoming around that time-stamp.

Added: Checked TRUEs pages and they say everything is fine, but the ping and connection-times they themselfs show on the info-pages are very high and pages (apart from major newspapers that seemed to be cached by the ISP) are very slow if they are located outside of asia. TV goes fast while many other instead locate in Europe and US goes very-very slow...

Not sure if this is any way connected but my UBC-True television service has been 'scrambled' since about 9pm yesterday evening.

After a while the things slowly starting comming back. Guess someone either did an 'ops' or an alarm-SMS woke up a technician that restarted some servers...:o
