webfact Posted February 27, 2023 Share Posted February 27, 2023 Sanook Thai Caption: Lights out on Krabi runway Sanook reported that many flights to and from Krabi International airport in the south of Thailand were affected after a fire caused by an electrical problem caused the emergency closure of the runway. Six airlines had to delay flights around 9 pm last night. It also affected an incoming flight from Russia due to land at 1 am this morning. The media reported that by 10pm the matter had still not been resolved. One flight from Suvarnabhumi returned to the Bangkok airport.
