One Dead And Four Injured In Late Night Crash In Banglamung

Banglamung Hospital were put on full alert in the early hours of Monday Morning and prepared themselves to receive the injured from a road crash which occurred at the front of the electric station in Kow Mai Goew sub-district. The crash involved an Isuzu pick-up which was packed full of people when the vehicle lost control on this fast stretch of road. Bodies were thrown from the vehicle causing one woman aged 40 to lose her life and four others were injured including an 8 year old girl who escaped relatively unscathed despite the seriousness of the crash.

Police Major Winai from Banglamung Police Station was assigned to the case and spoke with a number of the injured. The group was returning to Rayong Province and noticed that the driver of the truck and his wife were arguing inside the cab. The truck speeded up and eventually lost control and span off the road. He is likely to be charged with reckless driving causing death as the injured have all mentioned that he was to blame for the crash.
