Most of these buses are built on second-hand (imported) chassis - the bodywork was probably done in Thailand - even without the gas it's very likely the interior was not in proper fire retardant gadding - it's an automotive Grenfell. -

Is Thailand Value for money
Thailand is not good value. Some things are cheap, especially what a tourist needs (restaurants, hotels, local transport). Generally, you get what you pay for (unhealthy street food, unsafe taxis, lousy building materials). But you can live very cheaply here. Many things are neither cheap nor expensive (rents in Bangkok, electronics, prostitutes). Some things are expensive (education, health care - please don't compare with the predatory US system, chemists). Example: A generic antifungal I happen to know costs 63 times more in my home-country. Another generic antifungal I happen to know costs 7 times more here. In the end, it averages out. -

EOW was instructed not to post on the main thread, Electric vehicles in Thailand as he kept trying to derail it. He is still allowed to view the posts though. As for Transam, his content free micro posts were, imo, a complete waste of bandwidth. I would like to say that I miss him but I don’t want to lie. This latest “one” has a completely different style of posting. EOW’s posts, at least, were informed, albeit irrelevant and tedious. This new one is completely dense. -

Fun & games at Bangkok Airport
And UNBELIEVABLE at Bangkok Airport - looked for our gate which wasn't on our boarding pass as we were checking in two hours early to allow for traafic delays, (but didn't matter because they changed the gate anyway) looked for CM 12:25 - ah - there! Must be code-share or something. Little did I know how wrong I was. So we went to the gate early which luckily wasn't far and sat fr many 10-15 minutes and I suspected the code-share agreement had gone quite far as the ground staff where in VietJet uniforms, and I remembered thinking why so many VJ vehiclhes were servicing what apparently a VJ plane. Turns out Bangkok Airways and VJ have two flights departing at the same time to the same destination but they code-share with (one of which I have used) so when it was scrolling on the ONY info board I saw I thought it was for another airline and picked the wrong one. Luckily we travelled early because we only just made it - but we did -

Another revelation! I didn’t realise that EV Station Pluz/PEA Volta/Elexa are the people behind immigration’s 90 day online reporting website You really are clueless. That in itself is not a crime but to argue about something that you have no knowledge of is complete idiocy. First, you claim you have seen with your own eyes, an EV driving around with a diesel generator mounted on a rack at the back of the EV. Now you claim that most charging stations are not operational. I think you’ve just lost all credibility. -
