More than 200 people have been arrested during a week-long crackdown on county lines gangs in London, police have revealed.

Officers also seized more than one million pounds worth of drugs, five guns, and a number of swords, including a Japense-style katana, during the raids across the capital last week.

Alongside the arrests, 177 vulnerable people were safeguarded by police, several of them children who officers say were being "preyed on" by the drug gangs and "used as a commodity".

Sure like an ethnic brake-down of those figures - but guess that would be too racist and I think I can guess what the answer would be.

What would be the point of that?

No, the guy who reduced crime in London, the present guy overturned his progress.............????

Not true. Fact checked by the Independent:

Boris did very little that was helpful whilst Mayor of London. He wasted 43 million on a bridge that was never built, and funded whoever he was sleeping with to go on business trips with him.

He's currently trying to make his wife-beating father a Knight, and is using Trump tactics to lie about the recent commons investigation into how he mislead parliament. This man is a liar through and through.

Sadiq Khan has been an absolute disaster for London.

When he isn't virtue signalling about LGBTQ++ or pontificating about rejoining the EU, he can be spotted in a 3 car cavalcade on the way to the park to walk his dogs (despite trying to price everyone else out of their cars).

Meanwhile, knife crime is completely out of control.

He's also ruined the transport system while spending Billions on it.

It's a real shame Shaun Bailey didn't get in but London is full of lefty champagne socialists so they'll just have to wallow in their own mess a while longer.

Yes, really. As those stats show it was rising every year since he became Mayor.

Obviously when everyone was locked down for the best part of 2 years due to Covid it dropped like a stone, same as vehicular deaths etc. Khan can't take the credit for that any more than he could be blamed for consumer spending decreasing in 2020.

Actually, it began rising before he became mayor. Hmmm...

And as for out control.... still premature to make that claim
