Following allegations that Chinese companies are allegedly purchasing land and real estate in Chiang Mai using Thai nominees to avoid paying taxes under the Foreign Business Act of 1999, Surachet addressed the audience after meeting with representatives from the provincial land office, immigration police, and local administration organizations. Thailand Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 Being going on for years and nearly every property purchased by Chinese uses a "company" of some sort or other. But there are also many legit extensions issued for education as parents of kids attending the expensive schools.
