Almost Refused Entry at Chiang Mai Airport -Be Warned! - 2nd Visa Exemption
You missed 5. Those too old/incontinent/unable to stand/dizzy all day hanging around immigration offices. I used to fly to Saigon for my ME non O, just to avoid having to queue at CM immigration at 5am to get a ticket number for my extension. If improved during COVID, now its gradually returning to the bad old days. -

Trump gets an Deportation Set-back
As I said, the matter is not settled. What part of that do you not understand? I'm sure the ruling says whatever it says. So what? That's not the last word. People who do not understand how the judicial system functions should probably go do something else. Watch a move. Play a video game. -

Camerata's Guide To The Permanent Residence Process
There is definitely a logic to combining PR and citizenship and putting the initial processing of applications in the same department that does the later processing. That is what the Prayudh government attempted to do with citizenship and the first Thaksin government attempted to do combining PR and citizenship. The Thaksin government attempt met fierce resistance from the police but we never found out why the Prayudh government attempt failed or why the revised citizenship ministerial regulations were never implemented. However, putting all of Immigration and WPs into the same department nationwide as well would be a huge undertaking. Since everything to do with PR and citizenship always gets harder, I am suspicious that any changes would be for the worse for applicants.
