With the Thai election looming, the parties have made their stance clear on the future of Cannabis use in Thailand as well as recreational use of marijuana, an article claims Russians are 'flooding' into Thailand whilst a new extradition treaty has been signed with Russia, another agency has come up with ideas to control the burning of agricultural waste in Thailand but do they have any teeth? A tense standoff is over a Thai policeman went 'berserk'.

Are Russian's "flooding in"? Why use provocative language like that?

What might you suggest that reflects large numbers?

Overrun? Better to avoid 'invade' I guess.

Evidence of these large numbers? Larger than normal?

Getting back to pre-Covid numbers and of course far greater than during Covid. Plenty numbers have been bandied about. A stroll round Jomtien and Wong Amat may confirm it. A pal recently back from Bali commented on their numbers there.

With more than one million licensed growers, it will stay legal.

Any incoming party that successfully outlawed it probably wouldn’t last more than one term, having upset swathes of the populace and lost a lot of people a lot of money.

Indians lolling around in groups just lookie loos, or groups of Russians... Which would you prefer to see more of?  Oh add those groups of dozens of Chinese mass tour groups that wander around just clogging the streets.  I long for the days when Pattaya had a low season.  So few crowds.  One could safely cross second road.  Jomtien beach water was actually swimmable
