Cannabis Extracts Face Stricter Controls Amid Regulatory Shift
100% agree with the 'This is Thaksin' and the next bit about dying. No recreational marijuana and I will be returning to Laos and Cambodia where it is readily available for my winter break next year. How to bugger up a country! -

Thai Hostages Still Missing a Year After Hamas Attack
Holding a person hostage is brutal . Working long hours isn't brutal , long hours and low pay applies to many people world wide . They are not similar at all . Holding a person hostage isn't comparable to pay and working conditions . Its a war crime to hold a person hostage , whilst its not illegal for a person to work on a minimum wage salary . Comparing a war crime to a long working day 🙂 -

Here where I have my second home in the country side, not a small town, the government stopped collecting the trash, now everyone has to burn their own trash, just every where people are burning plastics and trash. They said, the local gov. don't have place to burn the trash, so cannot collect anymore!!!! -

Foreign Tour Operators Flood Phuket, Taking Jobs from Locals
Yes, I agree. And at the same time as I prefer to do business in my native language... at the same time, I prefer to support the local people, so I would choose an agency run by locals. I do the same in my hometown too. But too each his own. If it is legal, then I don't see the point of the article and any sort of complaining by anybody at all. Unfortunately, the article was not clear at all about this. I don't know the intricacies of the law, but as I mentioned, I look for businesses run by locals anyway, so it isn't something that I care to know about or spend time trying to figure out.... Of course there are exceptions to every "rule". I definitely will go to a business owned by anyone if it is a service or product that isn't being filled to my satisfaction by a local. -
