Plastic surgery clinic in Nonthaburi ordered to close after death of a customer

A plastic surgery clinic in Pak Kret district of Thailand’s Nonthaburi province has been closed by health officials for allegedly operating without a license, after a customer died shortly after undergoing breast implant surgery.

36 of Thailand’s political parties sign campaign ethics code

A total of 36 political parties have signed a code of ethics on election campaigning, under which they agree not to resort to election cheating, vote buying and mudslinging in a way which could incite hatred or violence.

Prosecutors asked to indict 34 PAT officials for falsely claiming overtime pay

Thailand’s Department of Special Investigation (DSI) has asked public prosecutors to indict 34 staff at the Port Authority of Thailand (PAT), who are accused of falsely claiming overtime pay and pay for working on public holidays from 2003 to 2012.
