The state-run Transport Company has advised bus passengers to buy tickets only at their ticket booths in its bus terminals and not from third parties, to avoid being cheated.

The advice was issued today (Thursday) after an incident at the Sai Tai Mai bus terminal yesterday, in which a bus passenger bought a ticket to Nakhon Si Thammarat from a third party at the terminal. The passenger later wanted to return the ticket for a refund from the seller, resulting in a heated quarrel.

The company also asked bus passengers to alert the police or security officials if they came across any third parties selling bus tickets to passengers at any terminal.
