AT 8.00am July 4th Police were called to a hotel in Soi Bongkot Central Pattaya regarding the stabbing of a woman identified as Khun Som aged 35 in one of the rooms.

Arriving at the place Pattaya police went to room 104 and found the woman lying on the floor displaying knife wound injuries to the neck area and her waist.

The attacker was a male later identified as Jil Tong aged 35 who was being overpowered by hotel staff in the vicinity and Police were able to arrest him.

The circumstances were as follows the woman was a karaoke lover who liked to dabble in a bit of passion with certain males in exchange for money.

She was with one of these gentlemen in the hotel when Mr. Jil Tong who was also fond of her rang her with a request to see him now as he also had a room in the hotel, She went to his room to tell him she was busy, he became angry and in a fit of jealous rage he produced a knife and stabbed her twice.

Her screams alerted hotel staff who rang Police and a number of them detained the male until Police arrived.

The woman was rushed to Hospital and the attacker was taken to Pattaya police station for questioning and possible charges.

The matter is ongoing and Police will wait for further info from the woman when she is recovered enough.
