Diane Abbott has Labour whip suspended after 'hateful antisemitic' remarks suggesting Jews do not face racism

And yet they still have bigots like Abbott making anti-semitic remarks. Why hasn't she been expelled? It's not like it's her first racist comment. 

 

They've done nothing more than got a fancy new front door, swept the mess under the carpet and carried on as normal.

She doesn't seem to have an issue with Corbyn though, although in fairness he did preside over a period in the Labour party when anti-semitism was particularly prominent so they seem to have a lot in common.

Can you tell us who these other bigots are and provide evidence to back up your claim?

 

Here are two facts, so you’ll be able to spot facts when you see them.

 

1. Dianne Abbot made racist remarks that were unquestionably antisemitism.

 

2. The Labour Party has responded by immediately withdrawing the whip from Abbott and have announced a party investigation into her words and actions.

 

Your earnest efforts to baselessly blame the whole of the Labour Party and its membership with the antisemitism and racism expressed by Abbott is noted.

Anti semites appear to have joined the party when Corbyn was mistakenly put in charge of the party in 2015

Antisemitism has always existed within the extremes left and right of the political spectrum.

 

It was communists who authored the conspiracy theorem tat underpins ‘The Elders of Zion’ a conspiracy theory that has taken root in both political extremes and frequently turns up in discussions on this forum.

 

So yes, I would agree, Corbin played to these antisemite memes and attracted antisemites to the Labour Party.


He’s gone and so are his followers.

 

Keir Starmer is the leader of the Labour Party and he has made clear statements and actions to root out antisemitism, his swift action to remove the whip from Abbott is an example.

There are extreme forms of every religion - the labels you threw out there can be applied to strains of Christianity and Judaism too. 

 

Likewise there are very modern Muslims who are fully integrated with Western values and eschew the negative traits you mentioned. 

 

You are a bigot if you refuse to recognise that.

No months hiding behind ‘due process’, no ‘Dither and Delay’.

 

Immediate response from the a party that is not in the business of covering up and protecting its members from accountability for their own actions.

It was acted upon quickly as she is one of the enemy. Starmer couldn't believe his luck. 

 

Had it been a member of the shadow cabinet things would likely have taken longer.

Again, not all Christians stand with the Westboro Baptist church and not all Muslims advocate for death to homosexuals. 

The Ugandan parliament is currently pushing through a bill that is advocating for life imprisonment for homosexuals - a bill promoted and endorsed but Christians.

Either all Christians are to be tarred by that aberration or you must accept that not all Muslims conform to your prejudice.

Oh I know there are some moderate Muslims, and even some relatively moderate Muslim nations. But they are rare in comparison to other religions.  Even in rather 'normal' countries like Malaysia, more than half the Muslim population wants Sharia as the law of the land.  Large majorities in places like Egypt favor death for those who leave Islam.  You would be hard pressed to find similar positions in other religions. 

 

It is all a matter of scale.
