Chinese Woman Abducted at Famous Bangkok Entertainment Venue, Suspects Flee Overseas

Featured Replies

Just levy a new arrival tax on all Chinese men.

The proceeds can then be used to compensate kidnap victims.

TAT can promote the new tax during it's roadshows.

So he befriended her on the 17th and she was in his apartment by the early ours of the 18th. She obviously knew him well then.

Possibly intimately?   ????  ????  ????

Walking around with half a millions worth of belongings?

Perhaps they took the key to her apartment in the same block and stole valuables from there.

Going with some guy she doesn’t know to his apartment. What could go wrong?

But she did know them, they weren't complete strangers.

Chuwit right again. Chinese triad kidnapping rings in operation. Chinese chat rooms warned about this. But the Thai government tried to get the Chinese government to help downplay it. Not a fantasy. This is a real problem. Criminals flooding into Thailand.

Especially with 427,000 baht of valuables on her.

A gold chain or a watch , iPhone could easily addd up to 400 thousand Baht. Nothing unusual there.  I once advised a uK older couple in a hotel at breakfast to take off their Rolex / Panerai and ladies diamond rings, put them in hotel reception  safe and never to go out with them !!  I leave all valuables at home at Bank. But, something needs to be done about these Chinese crooks that’s for sure. They have totally ruined  Cambodia and are well known for trouble in other countries.

First the Russian gen Z team up with local thugs for a pile-on. Then these evil empire abductions every other day now.

Commies behaving badly.

Same as it ever was.

As long as they keep it amongst themselves who gives a toss. She's obviously on the game.

Great photo. Looks very up to date. One would think there's a pandemic of some sort. Is this the best they can do? Just so lazy. If I saw this from overseas I would be wondering what the hell is going on in Thailand.

Givem a break!  Its the best they could copy from somewhere else lol!

Not the same league,...the red bull guy has billions to his disposal,....with that kind of money you really can disappear from public view. !

Sorry, the minimum requirement is 15 cows.

So close yet so far!

She has no Critical Thinking skills.

How many times were she warned about hanging out with strangers and not going home with someone she just met.  Some folks are just plain Stoooopid.

There are two separate kidnappings reported in this topic and this makes it very confusing.

Happens all the time in Pattaya, Bangkok, Phuket etc etc! That's a long term relationship!

The headline is a little misleading, it appears she was not abducted but went willingly with the Chinese gent who then detained & robbed her providing her version of events is true.

The writer being Thai, maybe she doesn't know the fine distinction between English terms, perhaps she thought that getting tied up was akin to kidnapping or abduction. In the US we would call that unlawful imprisonment, even when no one has actually been imprisoned, only prevented from moving freely fits that definition.

She's lucky she's still alive.

Just possible that the meeting was prearranged by a third party (ies)?

Sounds like she was hooking got picked up went to the guys place rented.

Story mix up like always or is it me?

First she is 28, then 25 living in the same Condo complex are we talking the same victim?

Something smells if she was at his rented place Just happened they stay same condo complex it happens but there is more to the story? How would they know she had that kind of cash?

A guy was waiting already it was pre-set!

Add to that collection a couple of waterbuffaloes, and you are deemed a local.

Sounds like an everyday Pattaya arrangement.
