May 6, 20232 yr Is there currently a scheme to buy a number of trips (like the one for the BTS card years ago), etc., for regular use of the MRT?
May 6, 20232 yr You're too young for the 'old folks' discount, 'half price' for 60+ yrs of age. May interest others.
May 6, 20232 yr There's the Elder Card which anyone over 60 can get (unlike the BTS where you need to be Thai), just need your ID to prove your age. Definitely worth getting for the 50% discount. There are (were) also some multi-trip passes available. Not sure exactly what, but if you drop your MRTplus card into one of the newer ticket machines (the ones that do value reload) it will tell you what you can get. "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

May 6, 20232 yr If you use credit cards to tap in, some cards let you have 10% cashback on the blue and purple line
