A NIGERIAN man who had been deported upon being arrested on a cocaine possession charge was arrested in Phuket today (May 10) after sneaking back into the country through natural channels, Thai Rath newspaper said.

 

A Phuket Immigration and Chalong police station team arrested  Mr. Harrison Shinonzo Onyema, 40, for illegal entry. Found in his possession was a digital scale suspected for weighing drugs.

 

After police investigation revealed that an African man was selling drugs, such as cocaine, and running a romance scam online they got a warrant to search his house in Rawai subdistrict, Mueang Phuket district.

Any bets he will be back within a year or two?

It has been made very clear over the years that Thailand borders are very porous like a sieve and if someone want to get in illegally, they can do that with ease which the job of those who supposed to keep the borders shut pretty hard against smugglers and criminals.

You can actually walk across, among the crowds, and nobody will even notice. (Incoming to Thailand)

It's up to you to queue up at the immigration window..or not.

That is my experience ,at the Thai -Malay border anyway
