i have a body rub cream that would probably change your mind. 0 high and so far after years of using 0 side effects.

works in minutes.

I used indomethacin 25 mg tablet from the pharmacy OTC at 1.5 baht per tablet 3 times a day.

My knee pain was gone in 4 days.

My back pain is related to a work accident which buggered my spine and back in 1982 and will never get better.

I just live with it.

They/it will go up in smoke!

  • It will be an expensive lesson learned in trying to beat the competition and jumping on the band wagon before policies have been set in stone. It was always going to be a gamble, some may lose th

Actually booze is a way bigger problem. Weed not so much. Pick your poison

legalising weed just adds to it - they cant get a handle on drunk driving as it is.

consider how many accidents and deaths are caused by drunk drivers in Thailand - yes great idea now we have 2x deadly drugs to deal with when it comes to driving vehicles

Well, the junkies will vote freedom, sadly those farangy's  here can't........????...........????

If I could vote I would vote for freedom...and I am no junkie, don't use Marijuana, don't smoke, but I am also against restrictions on smoking....it is all not the business of the government. Prayuth and Anutin are telling me what substances I can smoke and if it is the wrong one they put me for decades into jail...that is complete crazy but many people like it that way.

My sole purpose for smoking weed is to get rid of my arthritis (finger joints).

Not only does it eliminate the 24/7 joint pain, but the swelling has also gone.

Now my hands can open jars and bottles again, grip fully restored.

Nothing will stop me smoking now.

It's given me a new lease on life.

And I no longer need to take 8x paracetamol a day for partial pain relief.

    Well said.

Yet unbelievably there are those amongst us who feel you should be denied that option and would fully support and be in favour of  you being forced to consume a large amount of paracetamol, regardless of the well known long term health risks.

The same people would be only too happy to see you criminalised for exercising the choice that is currently available to you    Quite astonishing considering their personal aversion to this gift from the gods is based solely on 80 year old government propaganda  the reasons for which are  dubious to say the least.

                Some people eh?

There’s something odd about older people getting stoned. Just feels weird.

I met up with an old guy who'd been selling me weed the year before in Cambodge. Him and his mates invited me to sit down and have a smoke.

So I sat down and said "I've given up''

'Oh, ok, have a beer then.'

"I've given that up too''

He then actually said, "You don't drink, don't smoke, what do you do?"

Which, if you're in the know was a great song we used to sing and dance to back in the early 80s.

You'd get a lot more benefit from the cannabis if you ingested in an oil form in that case.

if you're eating it, the benefits are much greater. I suffer from the same kind of problems by the way.

If they do outlaw it, could you get some on medical grounds?  Eating some cbd before bed really helps me to get a good nights sleep too. I've more or less given up getting high in the daytime now and my main interest is in relaxing at night, because if you get a good night's sleep, that helps with any other medical problems you might have.

The ones I knew were making a lot of money in a short time and nearly all of them were intelligent and positive people. I think most of them will have realised the situation wasn't stable and invested elsewhere.

Soon the hype is gone, and everything getting normal about weed, and will create less teouble than alcohol, but more control is needed, both for the economy and health of those who struggle with severe mental health issues.

Really, you obviously know nothing about having a causal puff/ the odd edible then.

The problem with the whole debate is that people (like you)  who do not even understand the effects are passing their own moral judgement over those who do.

You smoke for the taste? Eat a brownie/cookie for that flavor?

I'm willing to bet 95% or more of those who use weed do so with the intent of getting high, not to enjoy 'hints of black currant and licorice'.

The weed thing was a bad idea to start with, it is an easy money venture that a huge number jumped straight on the bandwagon.

Anyone with half a brain knows weed shops were a bad idea, as if there weren't enough junkies in LOS as it is.

But, losing their weed shop will be no different to the bars and coffee shops that come and go in short order, with no thought, just borrow and lose by the thousands...????

On CNN the neurosurgeon Dr Sanjay Gupta made detailed reports that unitl now nobody died of overdose cannabis and that it helps a lot of people for pain management (you can find on Youtube under the name "Weed")

I believe cannabis is very damaging for the longs if you smoke it but I see no problem to swallow it / I never touched it but I would like to be availabe in case I am affecting by a long and painful illness.

However I agree also that the business should be strongly regulated.

At 78 I have been living with back and knee pain for over 20 years and have not resorted to medical marijuana yet.

Imagine if you’ve been suffering for twenty years for nothing. That the whole ‘marijuana is bad’ hoax, prevented you from access the the best natural remedy going?
Not just for the pain, but in helping you to readjust your posture in so that the reason for your pain in the first place is eliminated.
There are so many here who understand absolutely nothing, but they are often the ones who are shouting the loudest.

Vaping weed in a dry herb vape is not as unhealthy as smoking.

Also to note there is no need to hold in the smoke or vape.

Shake my head.  All the people dying of alcohol-related causes, and the fixation is on marijuana.  How many people have died from pot this year, compared to alcohol abuse?  Alcohol is the winner hands down in terms of the deaths and damage it does to property, human health, morality, and the functioning of society.    But of course the people who have never used it and know nothing of it want to ban it because they learned in church that drugs are bad, mmkay?

Is it really causing any problems, though?

I think legal weed makes Thailand more interesting, despite the fact that I have no interest in it myself, and haven't so much as even considered taking a single puff of it while it's been legal.

Pretty sure it's not only Thais opening these shops. There might be a girlfriend fronting it, but many will have a foreigner doing the planning and financing.

A good while ago I was staying with my parents and I made some hemp milk. You make it by sprouting hemp seeds for a day or two, spinning the sprouts in the blender for a minute with some cold water and straining it. You can feel the benefits running through your body almost immediately. My parents were mid 70s at the time and had always been anti cannabis, probably due to the brainwashing you all received in the 50s about the demon weed.

Anyway, they tried a small glass of hemp milk, their faces lit up with surprise and then they made hemp milk every morning for years.

No THC, no CBD, no drugs whatsoever.

Seems popular on here to change the drug of choice subject anytime grass is mentioned.

So, I tried tripping after I got out of college and bad tripped on that too. So I no longer do that either.

You dont have to smoke weed 'to excess' (your words), different strengths, different buzzes.

As I said, you really have no clue what you are commenting about. Bye.

I can't believe how many posters here still believe the propaganda they were fed growing up. Incredible how easy it is to mislead people.

It's time to make strategic stocks! ????

Oh, so you take the stuff like medicine, to alter your demeanour.   ????

Is it different from having a beer, cos I like beer, though not too bothered if it alters my demeanour or not......:burp:

Oh yes, beer. ????????‍♂️ What about coffee, do you get the jitters from it. I mean grass, sorry. I mean beer.

Anyone else notice how calm it is outside today? Feels like i’m in a different country. No alcohol sales today ????????‍♂️.

Everyone either decided to stay home, or they just shut up. Can’t decide which it is.

Jitters, no, can't say I get the jitters with beer or coffee.....????

Sorry though, if beer or coffee gives you the jitters..............:whistling:

what is wrong with smoking to get high?

why would i need any other reason?

It's my life not yours.

i don't need to justify my consumption with medical reasons.

Exactly...   but some shrinking violets simply cannot understand that...

The word ‘drug’ kneecaps any intelligent thought surrounding such discussions.

The substances we consume from various food sources, fruits, coffee, meats, sugars, beer wine all the way up to hard drugs impact us all from a minute degree releasing tiny amounts of dopamine from foods we really enjoy all the way up to utter euphoria....

Some of the extreme substances are obviously extremely bad for us and society, however, Marijuana is not one of them..

Some people need to get off their soap boxes, suck back a little of that virtue signalling and start applying basic understanding and common sense.

Thailand will be voting against Prayut. Simple as that.

If so , it will never be recognised and Prayuth will find a way the negate it.
