Relatives of Covid victims condemn 'pathetic' Boris Johnson

A Scots woman who lost her wife during the Covid pandemic has branded Boris Johnson's response to the damning Privileges Committee report "pathetic".

The probe ruled the ex-prime minister committed "repeated contempts" of Parliament by deliberately misleading MPs over Partygate.

Jane Morrison, whose wife Jacky died of Covid in May 2020, said the scandal was a "slap in the face" for the public.

Mr Johnson has attacked the "deranged" findings of the report.

Branding him the first former prime minister to have ever lied to the Commons, the Privileges Committee recommended a 90-day suspension which would have paved the way for a by-election if the former Tory leader had not already quit as an MP.

Boris was like that since before he entered politics.

It's amazing that anybody ever thought he could be a decent prime minister.

He lied for all his life. He cheated all his life. Why did people vote for that guy?

Amazing UK.

how about a probe into all the misleading around covid ? this is just fodder to keep people distracted.

a report out today on many mainstream news outlets about a full investigation done about the true origins of the virus.

finally we know what really happened at the beginning.

It's clear that the politicians and bureaucrats were not at all worried personally by the Covid virus.

You only have to look at the list of lawbreakers who thought that safety measures were for others and not for them. Among the ones who were caught in the UK were:

Boris Johnson (continual party)

Rishi Sunak (partier)

Matt Hancock (seedy affair)

Jeremy Corbyn MP

Margaret Ferrier MP

Stephen Kinnock MP

Gavin Williamson MP

Nicola Sturgeon

Catherine Calderwood (Scotland Chief Medical Officer)

Dominic Cummins (PM's political adviser, drove the length of the country

Neil Ferguson (predicted 500K deaths but was convinced he would not be one of them).

The grand prize, however, goes to Justin Trudeau, who took his family on a lakeside holiday while everyone else was locked down, and justified it by saying he was an "essential worker". Priceless.
