Doesn't matter. Obviously the people that really run the country do not endorse him.

Simply resolved.

Be rid of those that really run the country.......by hook or crook.

Come the revolution.

DEmocracy, is most votes, most people... something else than 250 appointed senators.

Perhaps he should ACT as caretaker PM while the mess is sorted out. After all the whole political circus is just like a Thai soapy.

Going through the motions.... I would rather they did that than appoint an old guard guy. A second round of voting might create a reaction that foments change.

A second, third and ad infinitum vote might just get it their thick skulls and oh so thin skins, that they are irrelevant, unwanted and detested by the majority of the Thai people.

Anyone but the stegosaurus Prawit. Justin Beiber would be preferable. Anyone. Any warm body, besides that lathargic, incapable louse.

How about my mate Nat, he's got a good following ????

The cause of this huge discrepancy between electoral results and the current standoff is a Constitution with an unelected Senate, both of which were installed by a military coup.  The root cause of this can perhaps, at least in part, be traced back to the Thai historical traditional cultural acceptance of Patronage (with the monarchy at the root of that).

When will the Thai public finally recognize what is holding them back, move into the modern world culturally, and stand up against such an absurdity?

They have shown that they recognise that, by voting the way they did in the election; rather confirmed by the results of this opinion poll.
