White House says Republicans have turned defense bill into ‘rightwing wishlist’

That's what the defense bill is, appropriation to buy new toys and or upgrade what's in inventory already for the USA military.

Is this the same administration that is giving billions away to UA, but now nit picking the budget for the USA's defense budget ?

A bit hypocritical one would think.

More an offense bill than a defense bill.

This is the World News Forum. One of many forums hosted by aseannow.com.

So it's opinion?  Why does it always show up as a subject in the daily  emails and how to opt out? Are the replies from residents of Thailand or anyone around the world?

A post questioning the OP's validity as news has been removed.  Asean Now has many forums, one of which is The World News forum.

The replies are from forum members, whether here in Thailand or around the world, the posters like you are members of the Asean Now site.

The freedom party really want Russia to win.

They used to be called The Sedition Caucus, I find that more fitting.

Check today's news sites for pro-Russia comments about them NOT wanting to invade Europe, from a prominent hairball.

These right wingers go on about law&order, love of country, a strong defense force (FORCE!), the noble Founding Fathers etc.  And without a second thought they pull stunts like this that undermine US military operations and security.  If a Dem were to do stuff like this, taking sides with a foreign adversary over US defense issues, you can be damned sure guys like himself will be grandstanding and calling for inquests and shouting "Bengazi!"

Special shout-out to Tucker, who supports Russia and it's allies because he is anti-Biden, and the GOP PACs holding their meetings in Hungary; what happened to "love it or leave it?"

We Republicans only love our country if we control it. Otherwise, not so much.

Republicans are the ones creating ridiculous roadblocks to getting a military bill passed

But is it just a 'military bill' or is it full of other wish list items, nothing to do with the military? Both parties are guilty of doing this, then accuse the other of delaying the bill, but neglect to highlight the 'fine print' it contains.

Why are you asking me this? And what's that got to do with the fact that the Republicans are using the bill to exploit the abortion issue?
