MFP have been well and truly stitched up they will now be on there own in opposition up against all the traitors who joined the coalition and no doubt a new bunch of senators will be nominated by the next government to ensure the MFP or what other new name they call themselves will never ever get into power

Sure.

Yet.....did you, and others, really expect MF [and associations] to have a shining path to gain victorious without the manipulated/twisted intervention of them

Perhaps they'll be stronger and have clear strategies next time to combat the rhetorical criminality that is Thai politics - if there is a next time for them.

Doesn't look rosy, actually.

Having no vote or voice in Thailand it doesn't matter if we accept it or not.

Probably because they have the tanks, guns and power to back themselves up against unarmed civilians.

Don't be so assured that the rebellious civilians aren't armed.

I am not however, like you I have no vote or voice in Thailand.

What I do have is a 19 year old son (birthday on 1st August) who has recently started at Chiang Rai Uni.

I am concerned that he may wander into a problem by accident (or not) and that his Mum and I are 500 km away.
