Lorry
90d online report has been pending for almost 10 days. Next week I will leave Thailand (temporarily) on the 92nd day, so it's after the due date, within the grace period of 7 days. I could still go to CW in person for a 90d report - what could happen if I don't?
Ohyesuare
Nothing. When you return, your 90 days for reporting will start fresh. 1

Can I expect problems when I apply for my next extension (that's next year)?

Given the 7 day grace period, and the fact your report is pending with Immigration, IMO the probability of having problems with your extension is vanishingly small.
BritTim
Experience has shown than you do not need to make a 90-day report if leaving Thailand shortly after the due date. Logical: no; reality: yes. No report is necessary. 1
